ENOUGH is a durational performance installation in which artist Matt Pierce presents backbreaking live solo movement incorporating text, video projection and sound. The piece is informed by the story of Jacob, who, in demand of his blessing, wrestles an angel until daybreak. ENOUGH exposes a physical, psychological and spiritual struggle urging the viewer to ask, "to what lengths will I strive for more?" Poet Rainer Maria Rilke offers: What we choose to fight is so tiny! What fights us is so great! With his latest piece, Pierce explores this notion and questions the deeper consequences of those blessings for which we relentlessly strive.

ENOUGH will be performed in March 2010 as part of the American College Dance Festival at Middle Tennessee State University
